Young Black Female Entrepreneurs, Inc. (“YBFE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of the individuals, families, participants, volunteers, partners, donors, and community members who interact with our organization.

This Privacy Policy explains how YBFE may collect, use, protect, and share information when you visit our website, submit an online form, request information, make a donation, subscribe to communications, or otherwise interact with YBFE online.

Providing information for a specific inquiry or program does not automatically mean that an individual has agreed to receive unrelated promotional communications.

Where appropriate, YBFE will provide a separate option to consent to ongoing communications.

Recipients may unsubscribe from marketing or general organizational communications using the unsubscribe option provided in applicable electronic communications or by contacting YBFE.

YBFE may still send necessary administrative or program-related communications when appropriate, such as communications concerning an application, registration, scheduled program, volunteer commitment, donation, or other active relationship with YBFE.

YBFE provides programs and opportunities serving youth and young adults.

We recognize that information concerning minors requires additional care. YBFE seeks to collect only information reasonably necessary to administer its programs, communicate with participants and families, evaluate program effectiveness, or fulfill another legitimate organizational purpose.

Where parental or guardian authorization is appropriate or required, YBFE may request that authorization separately as part of its enrollment, participation, media-release, or other program processes.

The YBFE website and general website forms are not intended to knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.

If a parent or guardian believes that a child under 13 has submitted personal information to YBFE through our website without appropriate authorization, the parent or guardian may contact YBFE to request review or deletion of that information, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements.

YBFE may photograph or record programs, events, and activities for organizational, educational, reporting, fundraising, or promotional purposes.
